Leykam Verlag GmbH is a leading printing company specializing in innovative and high-quality print products. To showcase the possibilities of augmented reality (AR) in print, Leykam aimed to create an interactive, educational AR experience that brings printed materials to life in an engaging way.
Project
Summary
The Leykam Shark AR Experience merges the power of print with immersive AR technology, allowing users to bring a 3D, life-sized shark to life directly from a printed page. By scanning a designated marker on Leykam’s print material, users can witness the shark swimming in their real-world environment, accompanied by educational content about marine life and conservation.
This experience highlights the potential of AR in print media, demonstrating how static images can evolve into interactive, digital experiences, enhancing engagement and providing a new dimension to storytelling and education.
In collaboration with Arloopa, a well-known AR/VR solutions provider, Amlogy co-developed the interactive shark animation and seamless AR integration, ensuring a high-quality and user-friendly experience.
